Celebration!
Celebrate our field’s achievements at this lively ceremony and reception, hosted by Eddie Stubbs, the voice of the Grand Ole Opry. You’ll also hear from Nashville’s eclectic chamber ensemble ALIAS in works by Matt Walker, Piotr Szewczyk, and Gabriela Lena Frank.
We’ll present the League/ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming, the MetLife Awards for Excellence in Community Engagement, the Bank of America Awards for Excellence in Orchestra Education, the Volunteer Council Gold Awards, and the Helen M. Thompson Award. We’ll also honor the first class of League Conducting Fellows, as well as hear from the 2007 graduating class of Orchestra Management Fellows.
